Hydronic heating is the most pleasant form of central heating,
which as the name suggests, works on re-circulating water
heated by a natural gas or LPG fired boiler.
The water is circulated from the boiler into radiators, skirting
board convectors or fan convectors located strategically around
the house. The size and type of radiators and/or convectors
determine the amount of heat provided. One of the many benefits
that hydronic heating offers, is that each radiator and convector
can be individually thermostatically controlled, providing
the ultimate in comfort for each room. Living areas can be
warmer than bedrooms. Unused rooms can be switched off or
kept at a lower temperature by just turning a knob.
Hydronic heating is also modular. Once a boiler of appropriate
size is installed, you are able to add radiators and/or convectors
as required. If you build an extension, or renovate, you simply
plumb the area and add radiators/convectors as required. Many
Hurlcon clients have added to their original heating systems
as their needs changed.
Pleasant
Hydronic heating provides warmth the way nature does by natural
convection and radiation and does not dry out the air by burning
or cause unpleasant draughts, hot spots and noise.
Non-allergenic
It is non-allergenic. With radiators and natural convectors
there is no forced air circulation through ducts that can
accumulate dust and allergens and distribute them throughout
the house.
Safe
Hydronic heating is safe for elderly people, children and
pets. There is no danger of a burn or scald as the system
is fully enclosed with radiator temperatures well below boiling
point. The surface temperature of natural convectors is pleasantly
warm to the touch.

Hurlcon Hydronic Heating is very reliable, simply install
and forget it. The only moving parts are in the pump which
is used to circulate the hot water to the radiators and convectors.

life. Hurlcon boilers are also designed to withstand the ravages
of time. Spare parts although seldom needed are kept in stock
for all Hurlcon systems and are available from the Noble Park
headquarters.

board convectors can take the place of a skirting board and
